Kim Finnie - Senior Research Chemist

405012700_FINNIEkim_webKim Finnie completed a PhD at the Research School of Chemistry, Australian National University, in 1991. Since then she has worked in materials synthesis and characterisation, with expertise in nanostructured materials. She started using sol-gel chemistry in 1993, and has experience in thin film deposition and characterisation, and in immobilisation techniques, particularly of biological materials.

Kim is the author of 40 scientific publications and four patents, and is a member of the Royal Australian Chemical Institute, and the Controlled Release Society.
