Sam has been with Ceramisphere since May 2007, working on biomedical and biological applications for Ceramisphere's patented encapsulation technologies.
His goals include the discovery of novel applications and the development of existing biomedical applications through in vitro and in vivo validation.
Before joining Ceramisphere Sam had worked commercially on molecular tools for high-throughput drug screening, focussing on improved reporter-gene technologies. Other research interests have included methods development with application to mammalian polyamine biology, and computer-assisted optical imaging.
Sam holds an undergraduate degree in Pharmacology/Information Technology and has completed a PhD in Pharmacology, both at the University of Western Australia.
